<p>this is gay. looking at the revelle GE requirements, i’d be 14 COURSES behind… whereas i’d be just fine for like Warren since they take IGETC. Wow I’m really deciding not to go to UCSD now</p>

<p>HUM 3, HUM 4, HUM 5, Bio, Chem, Physics, 2 more chem/phy, 4 courses of foreign language (I took 3 semesters in high school but that doesn’t seem to count on their proficiency list and I doubt i’d pass the exam now), 1 Math course, 1 American culture</p>
<p>I took other sciences like Astronomy and such instead of bio/chem/etc for IGETC but I guess they don’t apply to Revelle :x I’d also be IGETC certified this quarter but Revelle doesn’t accept it. I put Revelle like 4th choice too lol</p>
<p>Ouch. If I were you I would try to switch, even though they say you can’t. If this is making you consider going to another school you might as well bring it up - it would probably be a dealbreaker for me too.</p>

<p>Revelle is like the cloud that rained on my accepted parade. If you’re night a science major why would you attend this college? I like SD but Revelle will probably be a deal breaker for me.</p>
<p>I just want them to let me in… they can put me in 6th college for all i care.</p>
<p>Revelle is the haven of science majors. If you’re a science major and don’t go to Revelle, you actually will have to take extra classes at UCSD no matter what in many cases. I won’t, I’m gonna head to UCSD, and I’ll automatically be done with all GEs, because I got in Revelle.</p>

<p>Major is Political Science.
GPA is 3.1 transferrable. 3.26 non-transferrable.
I kind of messed up my first 3 semesters and have been busting my ass to bring my GPA up. I have TAG for Jan 2010, but applied for fall 09 hoping I may be able to squeeze in. My counselor said it was worth a shot. I am taking 18 units this semester and I should have my transferrable GPA up to about 3.3 by the end of this semester.
I know 3.1 is kind of low for a transfer student, so I am not holding my breath. I was in the Marines and worked full time and volunteered at some community organizations so I hope that EC stuff helps me out. If not, then one more semester at my CC isn’t going to kill me.</p>
