<p>GPA is pretty Low I have a 3.2 and am an English Literature Major. I have my IGETC finished and have completed all the English I possibly can English 1-7</p>
<p>then i’m pretty sure you’re in. as long as the major isn’t impacted and you have the prereqs complete you’re golden. One trick that some members found out is to long into mytritonlink and click on the housing application. if the message says something like “please check back may 2nd” then its an indication that you got admitted. although this isn’t proven science, all of us who got that message have been accepted.</p>
<p>I still don’t understand the prerequisites thing. Everybody is posting they have 4/7 or 5/10 prerequisites for their major. Does that just mean that my community college has alot more classes offered in my major to transfer? I am a bio major and on the assist.org website I have 18 prerequisites that can transfer from my community college to UCSD and by the end of Spring I will have finished only 4. I’m incredibly nervous because if there are 18 courses that I could have taken and I’ve only finished 4, it looks really bad.</p>

<p>2nd and I’ve finished my IGETC. The main reason I only have 4 prereqs to be completed is that I am working 20 hrs a week and volunteering about 15 hrs a week. I needed 60 transferable units completed by this spring to get into UCSD so I am trying to take UC transferable courses that aren’t necessarily in my major. I’m pulling 21 units this semester and only 1 of them is a prereq.</p>

<p>Your major just has more prerequisites to be completed… that usually means summer school + heavy load or 3 years, typical of a science major. The fact that you would have about 15 of your prerequisites classes to finish after transfer just means you will have to spend an additional year at your UC to finish them anyways (for a cost of thousands more).</p>
<p>aquafinaa also make sure they are all required. Alot of time’s they’ll have like 5 courses under a category and you only need to finish one or two from that particular category!</p>
<p>If my housing application hasn’t changed yet, but I also have this button to select classes, does that mean I got accepted?? There’s this new bar under Tools that says “Schedule of Classes” and it lets me choose all my classes… anyone with this too?</p>
