<p>It could just be maintenance for the thousands of people they know will be checking mulitple times a day for an admissions decision...</p>

<p>Class of '09 = Largest graduating class in American history. UCSD also had a record number of applicants. The need to prep for those kinds of numbers is obvious. </p>
<p>And, if they're updating for posting decisions, it means they'll be posting decisions soon.</p>
<p>There was an increase of transfer applicants this year for UCSD, but about 300 less freshman applicants. However, the -520 spots for freshmen basically puts us back to where it was in 2008, just slightly less. As I've confirmed, transfer/freshman decisions are separate.</p>
