UCSD decsions are out

very late response, i was just browsing through the post.

to minty331: you say you've done everything required and more...do you have a lot of units? One of my very well-rounded classmates got accepted to UCB/LA/D but not SD, as either Bio or Chem, don't remember. She called to ask why and they told her it was because she had too many units (80-90+ i think).

well i mailed them a letter and received confirmation that they had gotten the letter. this was a few weeks ago.

good point though, i will definitely call to make sure.

I still haven't receive an email saying that I got in. Do they even email?

I just got an email from UCSD saying that

UCSD Admissions

I called an admissions rep... they said that they received my update on jan 31, but i should reply to the email asking whats up. I replyed but it bounced back. ****in idiots. anybody else get this email?

^^ LOL that is indeed very idiotic, I can't believe their own admission people don't know which e-mails from them are generated automatically.

Hope everything works out for you. I didn't get that e-mail.

Anybody figure out if their updating weekly or daily???

noooo, not yet :-(

i guess we'll find out this weekend if its weekly

hopefully its weekly but then again UCI seems to not be ..

bump.......

Well, no update for me last night.

Dear Karen,
Congratulations...

smiles

I got my acceptance letter to UCSD last Saturday in the mail! I didn't even think of checking admission decisions online, but it was more exciting and worthwhile to open up the actual envelope!
Anyways, I got into Thurgood Marshall for Economics.

GPA: 3.9 (one B in English. I'm human)
IGETC: Done in 3 semesters
Awards/ECs/Academic Prep: None whatsoever, no lie. Left it all blank! Except for work experience.
Units: 56 total, plus more from AP scores.

I'm so relievedddddd and glad to be out of CCC after just 2 years. I'm guessing I got in because of my GPA?

No it was because your stunning smile

Wooo!!! Got in, Thurgood Marshall for poli-sci!! my excitement was short lived though, it just makes me want to know about UCLA that much more :(

when i log in, it takes me to this website: UCSD Blink: Link Family

is this normal?

^ when I get led there, I just go to myapplication.ucsd.edu on the same window and it'll lead me to the application page

or I'll just log in straight at myapplication.ucsd.edu so I won't have to deal with that hassle

I don't see anything on the page. It doesn't say pending, accepted, or rejected. Where am I supposed to look?

Here's a screen shot for anybody who is willing to point me in the correct direction of where I'm supposed to look.
