I'm curious, on average, which school has more challenging curriculum, UCSD or UCSB?

UCSD

(I’m actually an incoming freshman but that’s the general consensus.)

How much harder?

you’re not going to get a very accurate answer, since a) we’re a UCSD forum and b) we’ve only known the UCSD curriculum. kenmai9 gave you the stereotype, though.

Should I move this to the general UC section?

Yeah that might be a good idea, so you can get opinions from students from both schools.

Good luck finding anybody who’s been to both schools and could actually give you a credible answer.

You might from transfers, but then again each year is supposed to be more difficult than the previous, no? Worth a shot, I guess.

May also vary by your majors and what school in UCSD you got in.
