I got accepted to UCSD under econ major, but I feel more comfortable with business admin (which UCSD does not offer) I found out UCSD just open the new major, International Business under International Studies recent years. Is there any recommendation for me to switch to Int’l Business?
I know that Econ is more theoretical while Business is more practical, but how about Int’l Business? Is it as same as Business Admin?
International Business is not the same as business admin
You’d be taking the same core classes as a lot of business majors (econ, accounting, finance, hr) but then your upper level courses will have more requirements related to economic development, international trade, currency, global management, multinational companies and that sort of thing. In terms of curriculum, it sits sort-of between Business admin and economics.
