Today UCSD sent out email invitations for the Medical Scholars Program

What does this mean and does anyone know any admission stats for the people who get the invitation vs. general pop

UCSD said SAT >=2250 or ACT>= 34, GPA (probably weighted UC GPA ) >= 4.0
They also said the invitation does not guarantee acceptance to UCSD.

Does everyone regardless of major get this?

Yes. They just looked at the SAT (or ACT) score and the GPA

Barely missed it then! Wish UCS super scored!

I did not get one. ACT 35 but GPA 3.8, perhaps GPA too low

for pre-med major?

@kitty1 They said they offer to applicants of all majors. Anyway, only 12 applicants are selected each year, so the competition is tough.
