@avc118 Yeah, because I saw mostly social science majors get their acceptances, I thought for sure that I would receive my decision in the first batch, but nope. Do you mind if I ask what your GPA is? I’m curious as to what the Cog sci majors have around here.
It might be tough for UC’s because coming from a 4-year institution, you are given lower priority than the CC students. I also applying from a 4 year(SDSU) and am expecting the worst, but hoping for the best. You do have a chance though, your GPA from that university should hold more weight than a CC’s.

plus she has a 3.9 GPA and is an English major
not sure if that’s more/less impacted than gender studies at UCSD

@PantherDuck I have 3.5ish when I applied. I hope there’s not a lot applications for cog sci. I’m surprised there’s three of us here.
@avc118 Ok, right on. Yeah, Cognitive Science is a really low key major at all the UCs. I don’t think it’s impacted anywhere haha. I hope that fact really benefits all three of us here in the long run. Then again, SD seems to be getting more and more competitive as the years go by, so we’ll have to see. Sucks that we have to wait another month, though 
@PantherDuck Yea… Hoping that three of us will get in! I’m really hoping to get in since getting into UCB seems really impossible. Are yo going to do a specialization? If so which one?

@avc118 @PantherDuck looks like we all have similar hopes. I applied with a 3.45 gpa but after the TAU it was 3.61. So looks like we might be borderline
