UCSD FALL 2016 TRANSFER THREAD

@Philosoup Usually the first batch consists of Regents and URMs. The rest of us should hear back in mid-April.

So 0 engineers -.-

I remember last year some structural engineers got accepted the monday after the first batch got released. There’s a possibility that they will release a few decisions tomorrow… or at least that’s what I hope.

so I guess the housing trick or the email trick(whatever u call it) doesn’t mean anything?

Nope they changed the housing site this year, so it doesn’t work @1270012405

Is the portal down for anyone else right now?

@ct2809 Thanks. The URM sounds interesting. I didn’t know UCs took that into consideration in their admissions.

@tommy97 It just went down for me…

Very interesting. The site just went down.

I wonder if that means they’ll be releasing more decisions today. Hope so.

It’s down for me too… Fingers crossed!

@tommy97. Mine is down!!!

It went back up again and still has the " Thank you for your application to UC San Diego for Fall Quarter 2016. Transfer application decisions will be posted by April 30. Please check back for your application decision." message. I think we probably will have to wait till April :frowning: I’m a human biology major.

@Charleszzz @altavista @falltransfer1 @HiGabbyGabs

URM? under-represented minorities?

And its back up… aghhh :-w

it always goes down at midnight

@tommy97

Yeah, I think you’re right. At least Santa Barbara is releasing decisions in a week.

It’s open again. Nothing changed

So the almost panic attack is over. Meaning I have no choice but to clock out. Good luck to everyone. Night! I-)

communications major here, i haven’t heard anything yet :confused: i honestly didn’t even know that they were already even releasing acceptances.

my stats are:
transferring from: CCC in san francisco
gpa: 3.9 after fall 2016
igetc: completed
applied: ucsd, ucsb, ucd
tag: applied at davis but was rejected because i was like 2 units short and i didn’t know
accepted: none yet
ec: working part-time as an english tutor; most of my ECs are from high school since i graduated last year and haven’t been spending a lot of time in clubs and stuff at my CC.

Nice! I am communications major for ucsd as well. Good Luck!!
