My portal is down right now
my portal is up but it still says the same thing as yesterday
My portal is down but the website looks different from yesterday.
This is what mine says right now:
"Service Temporarily Unavailable
The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to maintenance downtime or capacity problems. Please try again later."
Mine says “Thank you for your application to UC San Diego for Fall Quarter 2017. Transfer application decisions will be posted by April 30. Please check back for your application decision.”
@brpere1175 That’s what mine said this morning. But right now I can’t even get into the portal because it says the server is down. So strange!
Weird. I even logged in through my phone a minute ago and it says the same. Maybe you guys are going to get your decisions today?
When I said “it says the same” I mean that it IS letting me go to the portal btw @Nataliee177
@brpere1175 Okay I just got in on my phone. My laptop is showing me that error for some reason. False alarm I guess 
I was admitted today around 11:40 in the morning and I don’t want to get all excited because a couple days prior I was accepted to UC Riverside and everyone on that thread said it was a glitch and that it shouldn’t even be coming out this early and then I checked the next day and it went back to saying “Under Review.” I hope UCSD’s isn’t an error as well. They stated financial aid information that would lead me to believe that it isn’t, but I guess we’ll see in a couple days. Good luck y’all 
@LynAmmo Congrats! I don’t think UCSD’s is a glitch since other people got in yesterday as well! They also released Freshman decisions yesterday, so I’m pretty sure it’s the real thing! Congratulations!
Okay guys, so this morning I emailed UCSD asking why certain people were being notified before others, and they just replied. This is their response:
"Applicants who were reviewed earlier this year, and did not declare capped majors, have been notified of their status. All other decisions will be posted online by April 30th. Thank you for your patience.

I checked my email around 1:30 and I was able to login and see that I got admitted for Sociology! So exciting-- good luck everyone!
