Any international students still waiting?
I am an international student and still wait for my decision. @sktopz
@counthia I was in the same boat last year (applied for cs and accepted as undeclared). There are other options like cognitive science or math/cs that you can declare, if you are set on ucsd. I heard it’s nearly impossible to get into CS, once you are in. This year they introduced some sort of lottery, so it’s pretty random.
Aw no way are you at UCSD now? Did you have to change your major? @lenocturne
@counthia I decided to stay one more year at my CC and try again next year (this year), so I took all prerequisites that I was missing and applied again. Still waiting, but hopefully, this year they will accept me for cs.

A week ago I was already planning to stay another yeAr at cc too and complete my ADT in hopes of getting accepted to better CSU’s next year but ucsd was my #1… i only received my acceptance 3 days ago and now I have to rethink my plan

@Sekime did you put University of San Diego instead? Go ahead and make the correct to UCSD’s federal student code instead. It will reprocess it and forward it to UCSD. Even though it would be passed March, it would technically still be considered as having been before the March deadline for priority FAFSA filing. It will take a few business days for it to show up at UCSD.
Go ahead and email them once you reprocessed/submitted the new FAFSA with UCSD’s federal student code. They’ll probably ask you when you resubmitted it and that it hasn’t gone through their system yet. But just give them a heads up!

@gabyitzelq1 Yeah— my problem is I also went to a Texas state uni before moving to LA for a year and so there’s no way of knowing which courses there will transfer to UC.
I saw that Davis posted the UC GPA of their applicants so I was wondering if other schools maybe did because I didnt apply to Davis

@counthia I know how you feel… unfortunately, I can’t give you any advice, since I am not sure what will work for you best… Just know that if you decide to stay at your CC for another year, time will fly by really fast, and before you know it it will be April again.

I’m new here too and I’m just trying to see when people are getting admitted so I can check, but I just looked and it’s still pending… sigh…

I’m not sure, I’ve never been able to find a UC GPA calculator that’s not for actual UC coursework. I think you’d have to speak to an admissions counselor so they could calculate that for you. Maybe an advisor in your major/department. Check the website for what you’re studying and see who you can contact that may be able to help you!
Is ucsd releasing any decision today ?
