Preach it Sister! @jac61251
Still nothing. I would rather get waitlisted than straight up rejected. Think about this: UCLA releases decisions on Wednesday, which means there might be quite a bit of vacancies after everyone SIRs.
Yes, I was waitlisted in the last 30 minutes. I know that this isnt the end-all. I’ve been accepted to UCR to study philosophy and I am quite pleased that I have even been considered admission to UCSD being that I have a transferable GPA of 2.85; however, I received a 4.0 last semester of 13 units and I am on track to receive a 4.0 this semester of 20 units. It’s been one hell of a ride this past year.
Hey guys, kinda worried I filled out my TAG wrong.
I applied via TAG TO UCSB and then applied to UCLA. I never filled out a regular UCSB application, just the TAG. UCSB sent me the confirmation that they received my TAG application, but when I try to look up my application status on their website, it says I have an invalid application ID and application quarter.
Was I supposed to apply to UCSB normally as well?
@kellbellfell Yes you’re supposed to apply via TAG and the UC application
I need someone to get accepted for this second wave so I can have some hope
I think they r done admitting people
Okay, woah there @zsshar, why don’t we cool it for a hot minute eh? I think they just need a little more time processing the more complicated apps. Kay babe?
@zsshar No way, there’s always more than one wave. If they were done, more people would have been rejected by now
Thank you joboco
Thanks @jobocop… hopefully you are right .
Guys here’s my speculation. Just as @Princetonian9 said they are processing the more complex apps, for example, missing one pre-req or maybe even more and a GPA that is in limbo with admissions. That’s that, it’s not a rejection until you get a rejection.
Anybody else feeling uneasy?
This seems like UCI where they accept everybody, and if you didn’t get accepted in the first wave, you’re rejected.
but my app is not complicated at all i have everything complete/completed by end of this semester and a 3.9 gpa…still nothing.
accepted: ucsb, usf, ucdavis
yes very.
Major: economics
Overall GPA: 3.9
Major GPA: 4.0
IGETC: complete by end of spring
Major Prep: complete
still no word???
There’s some majors that I don’t think anyone has been accepted to that they seem to be waiting on. So far I’ve noticed aerospace engineering and computer science.
@doublek20 ur saying there is a chance :)?
It weird that they haven’t posted a single acceptance tho.
Yeah I think everyone needs to chill out and stop overreacting and making bold statements about how we are all being rejected. If you have a high gpa, like your 3.9, then I’d say chances are you’ll get in, especially if you couldn’t find another person in your major that was accepted.
i’m honestly more worried about CAL than anything else.
