Oh i think youre right, cause ucsd historically released their admission decisions for transfers on the same day as UCLA
Or I think maybe they handled students from California CC first. I am an international students who currently studying in WA state n have not yet heard back from ucsd
Well i mean, Im from a UC but someone earlier mentioned that they were from the same uc as me and we’re both freshman. Its weird.

When we find out if we got admitted or not. Universities usually post it before the school year starts.
Given some of the stats I’ve read from everyone, you all have just as much of a good chance of being admitted as all others. It’s nerve wracking but don’t fool yourselves into misery of “I haven’t been admitted so that means I’ve obviously been rejected.” They could be backed up. Don’t they get an incredible number of apps each year? It’s only climbing.

Lmao. I’m out of state, have a 3.8 GPA, all the ECs and gen ed, but a few prereqs for my major aren’t offered here so I’m doubting admission… bleh.
@dtretyak I’m also missing a pre req for my major, 3.7 GPA. I initially was counting myself out but you never know.
I emailed them a week ago and they got back to me rn:
"We are not done with transfer notifications.
Please keep checking your portal MyApplication for your admission status."
So they’re done with reviewing but not notifications?

I have applied as a ComputerScience major and a secondary major in mathematics/computer science. Are these majors still under review? I kind of have a complicated application from multiple CC’s. Are we expected to hear back today? Has anyone called admissions?

The main thing that concerns me about not receiving admission yet is that transfer day is may 4th. I know some people got phone calls from the school this week to inform them on admission. Getting accepted just a few days before being notified about transfer day scares me. There isnt that much time to prepare for transfer day.

Transfer Day at UCSD is Saturday, May 6th. But yeah, the closeness in the timeline of being accepted/admitted and THEN it’s Triton Day the following week(end)… it’s difficult to do.
Anyone know how the email and portal update line up? I know for Irvine the email was delayed a few hours but for Davis the email and portal update happened at the exact same time.
