CS 3.86 rejected. Igetc and all prerequisites done this spring, Part time job and Personal statement ok. Don’t know what to say right now. Maybe because some credits that i had from foreign university ( I don’t think it’s transferable) Gonna appeal right now
@futurelawyer88 yes, I completed IGETC with all Assist listed prerequisites. I also spoke with a counselor to make sure all my classess would transfer.
@UCSDenied I’m not sure but I believe because they are so impacted, they only accept in the fall. I would call the school/ do online research and ask though. Just to be safe. If I find anything, I will let you know!
@futurelawyer88 I did, and still got rejected. Called them - “we cannot look back on your application and tell you the reason, all we can tell you is that we received a record number of applications this year”. Now I am denied from my #1 choice and waitlisted at #2 (UCI). Given that everyone rejected from ucsd will probably go there, I don’t stand a chance… what’s up with the world this year…
4.0 econ rejected rip at least going to davis with regents…what is going on. I had amazing ec’s which is why i got into davis.

I feel bad for those who had a 3.5+ with prerequisites done by spring and still got rejected. I would appeal, gl to all on their future endeavors
@UCSDenied I looked through SDSU’s website and unfortunately, they do not accept spring transfers. I would also recommend appealing UCSD’s decision! You sound like a MORE than qualified applicant! I have a theory or two on why people with lower GPA’s are getting so many acceptances, but I have no evidence to support them.

I’m still WTF at you getting rejected, @lenocturne - especially since you were admitted last year! Maybe it has to do with a slight drop in GPA? I literally don’t understand admissions at all (SDSU is another one that you can scratch your head at).

@thinkweism possibly. I got a B in one of my spring classes, that makes a total of 2 Bs. I am more shocked that UCI waitlisted me, last year I got in in the first wave without tag.
Oh wellz! I have a stable job in IT, a wedding coming up in 2 months - something to look forward to If it comes to worse, will tag to UCI for fall 2018.
Has anyone changed their schedule from what they put on their TAU?? I did so do you think I should email them telling them about the change? I dont want my acceptance to be taken away
