I doubt they will not at least release some decisions early, otherwise why does it say they are rolling admissions?
also, yesterday portals were reported being changed around 2:30pm, 2 hours before admissions were released. if anyone sees any changes to your portal please let us know

Hi y’all, new to CC but looking to transfer to UCSD this fall! Currently waiting like everyone else for that acceptance. (Hopefully by the end of the month)
if there are not changes to portals by 4:30pm, I think it will be next week.
Honestly I’m so bummed they haven’t come out yet after all this hype I’m just going to tell myself they’re coming out at the end of April and if they do come out this month I’ll be pleasantly surprised. (or disappointed lol)

@skyinthesky right?? I mean I say I’m over it but then again I’ve already checked college confidential and the UCSD portal like 5 times today and its only noon…
@sleepychickens if it is today, it would probably also be around 4:30 like yesterday, so portal changes would not start until around 2:30. Honestly, really tired of getting my hopes up

That’s true @sleepychickens I set a timer and I am not allowing myself to check my portal unitl 2:30 so I don’t drive myself crazy
Does UCSD require you to take ALL prereq courses for the capped majors? I’m pretty nervous because I’m applying for Econ and I’m missing Calc 2. Will I be screened automatically? Here are my stats:
GPA: 3.88
Major: Econ/Biochem
Prereqs: Missing Calc 2; done with everything else for Econ. Missing 1 Bio, OChem, Calc 2 + Calc 3 for Biochem.
Essays: Strong (at least I think so.)
EC’s: Pretty Strong
Could you guys please chance me for Econ (I know there’s no way in hell I’m getting in for Biochem, lol.)
They’re not going to release decisions on a Saturday. Just try to chill out and relax a little until late April. I know it sucks but hey we’ve all been there!
@BBoy99 Did you choose a major and an alternate major that are both capped? Don’t quote me but I heard if you don’t have all prereqs done for capped majors chances are rough.
@blackonyx did you hear they all won’t be released until late April? Some transfer applicants to non capped majors heard back in March last year, and besides the UCSD website says transfers should hear mid march to late april. I understand not freaking out if it’s not going to come for another month but we just don’t know anything. I believe @skyinthesky applied to a noncapped major and I did as well so we’re just a little antsy waiting lol.
@sleepychickens Yeah, both of my selected majors are capped; Biochem is my first choice, and Econ is my alternate.
@sleepychickens yea I am a communication major so I am non-capped. Some people who heard in March last year got accepted on Saturday. They are not going to just do acceptances in late April
