@skyinthesky I applied as Human Biology at UCSD and Biochemistry or Biology at other schools. What about you?
@UCwaffles I am a comms major, also just waiting on SD and LA
has past years had an email alerting ppl of an update or does it just sneak in and u have to be checking
@llbell you just have to keep checking the portal
I apply for Structural Engineering.
I’m so nervous.
Pending : UCSD, UCLA, UCB
Accepted: CP SLO, CPP, CSULB, CSUF, UCI (TAG)
@llbell @skyinthesky you will get an email. I got emails last year. i decided to stay another year at the cc
@smittynumone I heard that a lot of times people do not receive an email until a few hours after decisions come out, according to some of the previous transfer threads
I just checked. The email i got was at 4:05 pm last year
Not sure if this is relevant, but for both UCI and UCR, I didn’t receive emails about my portal being updated until the next day. While UCSD may operate differently, I think your best bet is to just check the UCSD portal periodically instead of waiting for the email.
@smittynumone did the portal change at all before decisions came out last year?
The closer we get to 3 pm the more I feel as though today isn’t the day. Should the admissions portal go down in preparation for decisions to be released? Because mine hasn’t yet
@rh1016183 no portals usually do not go down, it is normal
also guys, remember that decisions could be posted at 3pm, 3:30, 4, 4:30, or even 5
Honestly, I think it would make me feel better if they just told us what date/time they would be posting decisions. That way, we could all just wait for that specific time rather than having to guess, wait, then be disappointed when decisions haven’t arrived yet. :c

mine was: Fri, Apr 21, 2017 at 4:15 PM
R.i.p. Avicii
I don’t think they’re coming out today, the “Withdraw Application” hasn’t gone down yet and I just called admissons and they said there isn’t a set date. Historically the “Withdraw Application” always goes down before admissions come out. I don’t think its coming out today.
dang
Everything’s been different this year though…
