@AyGrey Keep your head up. Just finish the prereq next year and you’re A1. If you’ve applied to impacted majors, with a missing prereq, you’re prob gonna get denied from that alone. Unless it’s a school that doesn’t care about prereqs. But from what I understand all the UCs care about prereqs for impacted/capped majors these days.

i just got into merced which was my safety for public health, really can’t wait for uci or ucsd!! ucsd is more practical as far as expense and living wise, living in san diego. merced is out there lol. uci is my number one and what i tagged to, i really wanna just know.
So aside from all that is UCSD coming out today or not?
@UCStudent951 It depends on your major. For Biological Sciences it is the 4th best, under UCLA CAL and UCSD
I think we should all just wait it out till 5. This whole he says she says has proved to be useless.
@AyGrey i know it must feel crappy, but different schools look at different things (even if they’re all UC’s). ucla is probably a stretch because they’re headtight about pre-reqs, but DO NOT think everything is all downhill from here just because of davis and sc. sounds cringeworthy AF but those schools will not determine your life. just keep your head up until everything comes out, then you can decide what the best option for you would be!!

Also denied for UCD but it’s because I accidentally applied to CSE and didn’t have all the pre reqs lol

Some of my friends are math majors at UCLA/Cal/UCSB and they’ve said that they don’t believe that there exists a lot of variation in class rigor between the three, at least in STEM.

don’t think you’ll get in just because you have a 4.0 and igetc. look at last years thread and soooo many 4.0’s got denied. you can’t predict that stuff. I transferred with a 3.19 for chemistry and got in

@Vaneeters I honestly don’t remember. I wasn’t checking the portal constantly at all. I remember getting an email a little after 3 from ucsd telling me to check my portal and i immediately checked and it said i was admitted and had a banner and everything
