So like…I didn’t really finish my pre-reqs yet I got accepted…
My Daughter was admitted for Cognitive Science and Marshall!! Coming from a four-year university out of state but she’s a CA resident. She is beyond happy, it’s her first choice!! Essays: Super fun and expressed myself, my personal statement was about how I a trip to Vegas influenced my perception of psychology, ecology and design. I also talked about how I used bubbles for creativity which was fun to write about. For talent or skill I wrote about being a national competitor in horse back riding, while overcoming anxiety and funding such an expensive sport. My last essay was the open ended one where I talked about how I moved all my life and how my perception of myself and community is unique.
Congrats to those accepted! To those who didn’t, I said this in the UCLA thread and will say it again, Rejections are Redirections and are simply guides for a path more suited for you.
I’m currently living in San Diego county, so having the option to stay is really nice! Does anyone know when regents come out or if anyone got any in their acceptance?
