UCSD final decisions today?!

I think that finding out later is better, maybe some of you are borderline, and they are just awaiting for the accepted to decline the SIR, thus allowing them to give you a spot. I know of a few people who found out late May last year.

OK, UCSD finally posted my decision! I'm in for Pre-Literature/Writing @ Marshall, which was my #1 choice. My friend has yet to hear from them, though...but he really couldn't care less, because he's already been accepted to Berkeley for Computer Science :P

congrat to Bokchoi, I got into Marshall too.
Still don't know which one to go to yet...

still pending at ucsd, what's up with that?

FINALLY got my decision... and I got in @ Thurgood Marshall! Honestley, thanks for the decision, but it took you long enough, UCSD!

PS If you're still waiting, today is absolutely the last day for decisions.

got into ucsd thurgood marshall too... but instead of computer scinece they put me into mathmatics computer science... any1 know the difference?

Freakin pr*cks. They gave me Revelle college, which was like my 4th or lower ranked choice. I thought most engineering students get the college that would accept IGETC (as total completion of lower div GE) since we are already high unit majors? And they accepted me for Pre Electrical Engineering, what the hell is pre engineering?

Well, it's been a long wait for nothing. At least now, I have less colleges to choose from.:)

yea I got into Muir but what the hell is pre-electrical engineering....I thought starting from fall 2004 all engineering majors were directly admitted to the major

"Effective fall 2004, applicants seeking admission as transfer students will be considered for direct admission in the Electrical Engineering major in the Department of ELECTRICAL AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING. The only way to become an Electrical Engineering major is to be directly admitted as an entering transfer student."

o well I don't care....Im not going to UCSD anyway

Just wondering. Are all transfer engineering majors out at UCSD already? Just asking cause my website acceptance letter shows me as undeclared. Does this mean no engineering for me or that it's still pending?

Hi. I am going to be transferring to UCSD this fall and I'm currently looking for a place to stay. Please PM if interested in either looking for an apartment or have a room available.
