Does UCSD send out letters to everyone stating what their financial obligations will be if accepted? I received a letter with a detailed breakdown of my cost to attend based on my family’s finance if I am accepted. Does everyone receive this letter or is this a good thing (that I may be a possible acceptance candidate)? My parents filled out the FASFA, but I don’t qualify for any financial aid.
Admissions and financial aid office are separate so this does not mean a possible acceptance. UC’s are need blind so your admission decision will not be based on the ability to pay or not pay.
Thank you for your response. This is the first of the UCs to send me a letter like that so was hoping that might be a little indication of potential acceptance.
