UCSD financial aid preliminary award?

<p>So I'm one of the people who got accepted to UCSD w/ tag after the initial rejection was overturned. Do you guys have the financial aid statement already?</p>

<p>I fear that since the admission process was messed up, financial aid process will be messed up, too. When I log on to my application website, it says that they don't have my fafsa on their record. Is this because they haven't started working on my application? or is it literally because they did not get my fafsa in the first place? (of course, I filed them already).</p>

<p>Just scared.</p>

<p>I’m in the same boat as you. I am sure it will update by tomorrow and they still have not given out any money yet for sure. The one that they send you after admitted is just preliminary. UCSD waits to see who accepts their offer then starts to hand out the cash accordingly.</p>

<p>My acceptance is up on trintonlink but the financial info is still not up. I figure by 2moro, Wed.</p>

<p>^^I have heard from economists that this is true.</p>

<p>I didn’t fill out my fafsa until after decisions were made. UCSD updated my stuff on their own. No financial aid or subsidized help for me.</p>

<p>I got admitted well over a month ago, and it took them two weeks to get my FA letter ready…:/</p>

<p>I called financial aid office today and they told me that those that had the “administrative error” shuld have their prelim fin form by Thursday. They confirmed that they had my FASFA and were still just going over it. Thats what I was told but shall wait to see…i wouldnt panic just yet but you should call to make sure they have your forms. Problem can be getting through…took me two days to finally talk to someone.</p>
