Today I went online to submit my housing application, but I have no idea if what I did was correct. I went online and clicked on Housing after I logged in. There was a link that said "Housing Status" I clicked on it ad it asked me if my address was okay and I pressed yes, then on the bottom there was a button that said "Submit housing application" so I clicked it assuming that there would be questions or something that would ask me about my room choice or something, but I didn't see any questions. I'm wondering if I did something wrong or am I supposed to wait to get something through email? Should I call the office tomorrow? It just seems weird that I wasn't asked any questions on my room choice or anything like that. Is there a different link I'm supposed to go on?

That’s all you need to do for now. They’ll give you the questions you need to answer sometime later.

Sorry to add something on that isnt quite relevant.

Since the heading is about UCSD housing, I was just wondering if anyone on CC knew whether the washer and dryer machines at the residential colleges are free or if I would need to pay with quarters.

You pay for your laundry using TritonCash, which is a debit card system using your school ID card. The machines no longer accept quarters.

Dreamer- If you sign back into “my Application” and then go to the “Checklist-Hosing-View Housing Status” it will say " Your Housing Application has been received. In late May, online applicants will receive an e-mail containing the web link to the housing contract instructions. Continue to meet upcoming deadlines and visit this site to check your next housing status message. "

You will get your application/housing questionnaire in May, and I think you have to submit a deposit at that time also.
