<p>This is a great thread all of you. It’s really helpful for someone who already went through the university to give their experiences to others. Pics were great! I was just up at La Jolla a couple of weeks ago. The La Jolla shores beach behind the Birch aquarium is awesome. If you like being outdoors and by the beach that is by far the nicest place I’ve seen.</p>
<p>astrina did a great job with the pictures, but if anyone has any requests, I’ll be glad to throw up a few snapshots.</p>

<p>I love it here at UCSD. I’ve made TONS of awesome friends and experienced countless new experiences. I’m going to just repeat what everyone else says: College is what you make it. Go out and make opportunities to meet people and have fun. They’re not going to come to you. It’s not high school anymore. UCSD has more than 20,000 undergraduates. Your social life will be absolutely non-existent should you elect to just be a wall-flower.</p>
<p>More advice: The most annoying people I’ve met at UCSD are those that keep whining about how they should be at Cal, UCLA, etc. Please, do us all a favor and don’t whine about UCSD and how much it sucks compared to your first-choice school. GET OVER IT.</p>
