UCSD is NOT taking transfers for winter 2011

<p>So I just called and they said NO winter transfer students anymore. If you dont get in for next fall you will have to wait until Fall 2012. </p>

<p>Basically..Im screwed. I have everything requried for TAG but they are no longer accepting one of my classes..so I will have 57 units...and my gpa is right around a 3.0 so I probably wont get in for fall. (made the mistake of taking ochem before transfer and it KILLED my gpa)</p>

<p>They only take 70 units right? So in the next 4 semesters until fall 2012 (including summer) I can only take 4 classes?</p>

<p>WOW....I am so mad right now its beyond words.</p>

<p>that sucks. you can take as many classes as you want. they will just only accept so many of them as units towards your degree. the rest are just used as subject credits. I think its more than 70 units. google it.</p>

<p>just apply in the fall of 2010. im sure u can get good grades on the last 4 units u could take</p>

<p>if you’re at a semester school take a short term course, you can usually get a 3 unit one. If you explain your situation im sure they would let you take a summer course to reach the unit requirement.</p>

U scared me, i saw on their website that they r open for winter…
damn, if this is the case i’ll hav to wait for another ****in year</p>

<p>it’s with all ucs. they’re not accepting spring transfer either. i’m gonna go to UNM.</p>
