UCSD Makes Admissions Error – Again

<p>For the second time this spring, the admissions office at the University of California San Diego has temporarily gotten its thumbs up/thumbs down wrong for a batch of prospective students.</p>

<p>Yep. I was one of the students who got the false rejection. So lame. I have already finalized things with UCSB, and I am stoked on it. I am just glad that UCSD was not my first choice, that would have been awful.</p>

<p>That’s funny, I am the opposite. UCSD was my first choice, and UCSB second. I got rejected by UCSB two weeks ago, and then by UCSD on Friday. Luckily, I found out yesterday that I was one of the lucky 607 who was rejected by accident. All is well that ends well, I suppose.</p>
