Alright i'm a bit confused...on my portal it mentions that there will be an english entry test unless you scored a 3+ on the AP Exam (I did). There isn't, however, any mention of a math placement test. Do incoming freshman have to take a math placement or is that not necessary?

If you wish to take calculus, then you must take the math placement test. What is your intended major? If you took AP calculus in High School, and scored a 2 or higher, then you are waived from taking the test.

I didn’t take AP Calc. Undeclared but i’m thinking of Poli Sci/Econ or Poli Sci/Psych and then pursue an MBA or Law Degree.

Well, most senior high school students are still in AP Calc. Math placement is probably later.

i think the only reason why you wouldn’t have to take it during this summer is if you took the ap calc test last year (i.e. as a high school junior).
from what i know, ap scores from this year won’t be in on time for you to be exempt from the placement exam.
there’s a site about the math placement exam with a F.A.Q.
