<p>I was wondering if someone could help me out with the math requirements for UCSD .</p>

<p>I tracked down the following link <a href="http://www.brynmawr.edu/healthpro/documents/MedSchoolList2007MathiReqs.pdf%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.brynmawr.edu/healthpro/documents/MedSchoolList2007MathiReqs.pdf&lt;/a> that posts the required or in some cases the recommended math courses medical school applicants need to complete by the time they complete their undergraduate schooling.</p>

<p>However, I don't understand when UCSD states "2 semesters, only Calculus, Statistics, Comp Science accepted" does that mean that they accept only combination of math courses (One semester statistics and one semester of Comp Science) or can it be (One semester of Statistics 1A and followed by another semester of Statistics 1B)</p>

<p>Could some help me out?</p>

<p>I would do one sem of calc and one of statistics since some med schools require/recommend calculus.</p>

<p>UCSD's website means that they won't accept algebra, propositional logic, number theory, etc. as math courses.</p>

<p>unless I'm mistaken, all med schools require calc -- single-variate (~ AP Calc AB) -- and many (most?) require the second quarter of calc multi-variate (~ AP Calc BC).</p>
