UCSD Math Series Prereq for Bio Majors

Hi all! So I was on assist looking at the transfer requirements for all the Bio majors at UCSD, and they all have the Math 20 series to be completed, I was going to apply for UCSD's tag, and I was wondering since I cannot complete the last Calc class listed in the series if that would affect anything? I've read about people transferring without completing some major requirements and was wondering if UCSD has been lenient on the Math series? ESP since I will be applying with Tag, or will my tag get rejected?
Thanks!

Yes you should be fine barring you’re competitive in all the other areas of your application. UCSD seems to be pretty lenient on the math series for bio majors and usually focuses more on the bio and chem prereqs or at least that’s my impression having talked to other transfers. I didn’t have the 20C equivalent finished and ended up taking it here at UCSD and I was admitted. Also, something to be aware of is that not all bio majors are required to take the 20 series here at UCSD. I think it’s only required for Molecular Bio and Bioinformatics majors. Most of the other majors in the department only require the easier 10 series, which has no physic/engineering majors in it setting the curve and it also covers the topics less in depth.

Thank you!!
