For IGETC certified transfer students, are there any additional classes needed for Muir?

muir student :)

Ok this is confusing. Your link says I need 2 courses but over here:
http://muir.ucsd.edu/academics/generaled.shtml

It says I need one.

And the email I got today said this regarding the general ed:

“Muir. IGETC or TAG transfer students satisfy all lower-division GE requirements (including math), except for writing MCWP 50 or 125.”

On one page it says:

“General Education Requirements for Transfer Students
IGETC
Writing: MCWP 50 or 125”

but on another page it says:

“Once at Muir, IGETC students must complete Muir College Writing 50 or 125, one course in the diversity of U.S. culture”

So, do I need to take one course in the diversity of U.S. culture or not?

Is the diversity of US culture requirement a UCSD campus-wide requirement? If so, perhaps it is not listed in Muir-specific requirement lists.
