UCSD (Nanoengineering) vs UCD (Biomedical Engineering)

I’ve been accepted to both school, and now that deciding time is coming up I’m really struggling to pick between them. I plan on doing premed, and from what I’ve heard and seen (on a visit as well as talk with faculty member)/researched, UCD seems to have an environment more conducive for success with premed/medschool admissions. However, I’m also aware that UCSD’s nanoengineering program is unique (not available anywhere else in the country) and better academics (I’m not sure if its harder) but worse dorms, food, and school spirit…I’m 70% sure I want to go into medicine, so I’m just really worried about my own limitations with getting a good GPA, research, EC, and having a life at SD but I also love learning and challenging myself so Davis isn’t a clear winner either. I’m really torn so any advice would be super helpful!
