<p>I didn’t have work study and didn’t have a problem finding a job. My friend had work study but didn’t actually tell her job about it, and she still didn’t have a problem getting a job. Port Triton is a good place to look for jobs on campus. Some require work study, while others say that work study is preferred, and some don’t care. I applied for a job where work study was preferred and given hiring preference, but I still got the job, even though I didn’t have a work study award (nor did I have any previous work experience). If you’re having trouble, try to apply for jobs that hire a lot of students like the library or the dining hall.</p>
<p>If you can’t find something on campus, you can always look for work off campus, since many of them aren’t work study jobs.</p>
