UCSD Off-Campus Housing

Can someone tell me where is a good place to live off-campus at UCSD?

By good I don't mean quiet and boring. I mean balls to the walls partying til the sun comes up, mostly student apartments... like specifically I want to know the name of the apartments so its easier to find... and also it has to be close to UCSD with a shuttle service...

THANKS

Way to bump half-year old posts to advertise your crappy site

Looking for housing possibly this summer and definitely the 2012-2013 school year. Are there any places that fit RoyalFloosh’s description?

Apartment complexes that are chill about noise?
Townhomes/condos where residents are predominantly UCSD students?
Houses that are affordable yet close to UCSD bus lines?

partying and UCSD =/= does not compute lol

if you want to party like a rock star live close to SDSU. Other than that be prepared to live in over priced housing in La Jolla or the UTC area. I would look at clairmont area if you have a car. Rent is cheaper like a 1000 a month for your own place and maybe a 15 min drive to campus.

U just gotta look. A lot of people have rooms to rent so you might be able to find a roommate from 700-1000 bucks a month near campus. Just go on craigslist.

Clairemont and Mira Mesa look promising, but I would prefer to stay closer to campus. I’m not looking for a frat-house or anything just someplace where you can throw a birthday rager and not get rolled at midnight.

@Lookin4ward
i used to live very near UCSD and i’d have to disagree. (UCSD == partying) = true

Mike, where did you live?

i lived in mission valley, la jolla, and rancho pen.

if i were to move back to attend UCSD i would probably live in the mira mesa/rancho pen area. la jolla is way to expensive. in rancho pen i rented a huge 4 bedroom house for 2000. i sublet 2 of the rooms to 2 ucsd students for 600 each. in la jolla i had a tiny 1 bedroom for 1600. i would guess my house in rancho pen was about 20-25 minutes from ucsd while my apartment in la jolla was probably 15 minutes. if you ask me the savings is well worth the extra commute

^nice. I’m in UCR right now. But if I decide to go to UCSD, I plan to live on campus even though my house is at Rancho Bernardo since it’s 20 minutes away…wayyyyy too much traffic in the morning/evenings

A lot of my friends seem to be living near Costa Verde, near Regents and Nobel. Any nice townhomes there other than the Mahalia ones?
