I am in a tight situation. Right now I am going off on the assumption that I will not be getting admitted to UCLA, and was wondering which school should I pick. Either UCSB or UCSD. I got into both school. However, for UCSD I was admitted as an Undeclared-Humanities and was considering switching to their International Studies program. At UCSB I was admitted to their Global Studies program. Which school is more reputable for their International/Global Studies program? Will it be hard for me to switch over to UCSD's International program from an Undeclared-Humanities major? My ultimatum is to attend law school after I graduate.

Thanks in advance!

Stats:
GPA: 3.34 (no TAG. no TAP.)
Major: International/Global Studies
Schools Applied: UCLA, UCSD, UCI, and UCSB
IGETC: Finished by the end of spring semester
EC: Work experience, treasurer of phi theta kappa, 60+ hours of community service

to be honest, it doesn’t really matter. go to whichever school you like better or whichever school you think you could get a better GPA at. all law schools look at is GPA and LSAT so the prestige of your specific major department will have little to no influence

I understand graduate rankings to not perfectly correlate to undergraduate rankings, but UCSD seems to be getting stronger as it grows. So I would expect it to keep is ranking if not increase. Also, this article states that the international studies portion of UCSD is ranked 6th in 2009 ([U.S.
