UCSD provisional admission contract GPA question!

Hi, I finished 65 units at a community college. Then I transferred to UCSB. That same quarter, I applied to UCLA and got in. My provisional contract says

Complete at least 60 semester or 90 quarter UC transferable units by the end of Spring term 2012 with an overall UC grade point average (GPA) of at least a 3.00.
Remain in good academic standing in your last regular term with at least a 2.00 GPA for UC-transferable course work for that term.

In the first sentence where it says "UC grade point average of at least 3.00", are they talking about my overall GPA including my community college work? Or do they just mean the year I have spent at UCSB?

They mean your GPA in all UC-transferable course work.

I would strongly recommend calling them and asking about your situation in general.

I would call to make sure, but I think it just means your GPA in all UC-transferable work as Grimes99 mentioned. You only need to maintain a 2.0 your last quarter, but you should not get a GPA lower than 3.0 overall.

Yeah, that’s what it means. This is the same contract they send out every year, they just don’t want to say “UC transferable coursework” three times in three sentences.
