Hello, I was admitted to UCSD and will be attending this fall 2017. However, I am worried about getting rescinded because of a NP on a college course I took (History of Rock Music) this 2nd semester. Will I get rescinded for this?
I have a 3.9 unweighted GPA, had straight A’s this semester, and am expecting straight A’s again this semester.
If anyone can offer me advice or knowledge, please do so because I am very worried about my future. Thank you!
Call admissions and explain why you got an NP for an elective. Schools do not like to rescind so I am sure everything will be fine, but always be proactive to make sure this will not be an issue. Was this class for personal enjoyment or was it needed to fulfill your VPA UC course requirement?

With the NP grade, I assume you did not enjoy the class??? 
Yeah… I did not enjoy it and focused more on the other college course I took (Mobile Web Apps HTML/JS). Unfortunately, that plus AP classes and tests etc. caused me to forget about History of Rock Music.
