<p>It's probably going to be an issue. I know of two guys who got rescinded. One was by Yale for getting two Cs and the other was a case similar to yours - a guy accepted by UCSD who got a D in calculus. UCSD didn't rescind him outright but "suspended" his acceptance and told him to make good on the bad grade by retaking it over the summer at a community college and bringing the grade up. He failed to do that and was in the end rescinded. He ended up going to work instead and never went to college.</p>
<p>So if I were you I'd be looking into options for clearing that grade up and have a ready answer already in place when if and when UCSD notices the problem.</p>
