UCSD - Revoked?

I was told to keep a 2.0 quarter and also 90 units.

I'm taking 4 classes this quarter with 1 A, 1 B, 1 B-, and 1 D.

I will have above the 2.0 if my grades stay like this but will my admissions be taken away for my D?

With a D you would still get units correct?

Any comments would be much appreciated.

a D is actually considered failing so the answer is no, you will not get the credits. I'm not sure how this will affect your admissions decision but you should do two things: a) talk to the prof in that class and see if there is something you can do to get that D to a C- and b)call UCSD directly and ask them about your situation.

Take a closer look at the admission contract, other than the 2.0 overall in the quarter it probably has a requirement stating that you need to get a C or better in any major requirement courses. That's what it says in mine, so just take a closer read.

I'm UC to UC.

I havn't gotten a D before, but my friends have and a D does reward units because you cant get quality points if you don't get quality hours.

mine doesn't say anything about maintaining a C in gen req classes.

This is what my contract says.

Complete at least 60 semester or 90 quarter UC transferable units by the end of Spring term 2006 with at least a GPA of 2.5.

Remain in good academci standing in your last regular term with at least a 2.0 GPA.

Am I missing something?

opinions? :[

Call UCSD directly. your a UC-UC transfer, most of us are not in that position.

For us we have to have a c- in each class in order for it to count .

bumpty bump
