<p>I got acpetdd into Muir and Ive been hearing some bad thigns about the social life:
1) the girls are ugly
2) hard to meet new people
3) boring because it's in a rich town with old people </p>

<p>Here, I’ll answer for you.
As an incoming freshmen, I believe its kind of ridiculous to believe that out of 25000(ish, give-or-take) students, that they’re all ugly (boys or girls). I also heard Triton Eye is more about the ugly guys. But like I said, it’s really ehhh to believe those kind of rumors. Just enjoy SD if you do come. You’ll have fun if you really want to have fun. :)</p>
<p>please no more threads about girls being ugly at ucsd. there are “ugly” and “hot” girls everywhere. even if half the female population was ugly, thats still approx 5k hot girls. just be social and active and you will meet plenty of people of all types, sights, etc</p>
<p>Join the greek system. Hot girls are concentrated there. and also please do a search before you post yet another mindless thread like this (there have been like 3 in the last few weeks alone, and probably hundreds in the archives)</p>
