<p>Hi everyone,
I am looking at applying to the PhD graduate program for UCSD. I am currently at ASU and I will hopefully graduate with a 4.0 and a B.A. in SOC. I have some great contacts for my letters and I am going to start working on a personal statement; however, my only fear is the GRE. I perform poorly on standardized tests, I plan on taking a course with PowerScore. I am also going to buy textbooks to help prepare myself for this test. I did not study when I took the SATs, so I am learning from my mistake. </p>
<p>I guess I am just writing this to see how others performed on their GRE. Particularly, were there any of you who performed "not so well" and still got into great schools with graduate funding?</p>
<p>I would like to hear about your experiences.</p>
