UCSD sororities?

I'll be a freshman this fall and was planning on rushing. However, I'll be living at home and commuting my first year, which is a 30 minute drive without traffic.
If I get into a sorority and decide to join, is it even possible to really be a part of it when I live so far away?

It is absolutely possible! Many girls who are in sororities at UCSD live off campus- if not half of them. I encourage you to rush at the least, and decide if it’s worth the extra time commitment after rush is over. Rush week comes fast so don’t miss it!
