<p>I'm pretty sure it starts mid/late September, considering the last orientation is September 15...</p>
<p>Last year they started around September 20th, so I assume it'll be around the same time.</p>
<p>fall quarter starts on the Sep. 18, classes start on 21 and i'm quite positive</p>
<p>UCSD and other other UC's (sans Berkeley) always graduates and gets out of school REALLY late (a month+) compared to other schools</p>
<p>hmmm...i'd actually prefer we start early and end with everyone else (in May)</p>
<p>Actually, i kind of like it. They may get out in May, but we start a Month Later than they do, so it all evens out. Not 'everyone' uses the semester system. A lot of top schools are on the quarter system- University of Chicago, Stanford, Dartmouth and Northwestern just to name a few.</p>

<p>nick, i have been reading these threads and you're pretty chill, so thats good. BUT i find it EXTRMELEY annoying how ppl like claire post random stuff and COMPLAIN (refer to other threads she started), so i finally registered to voice myself.</p>
<p>if u think about it..sixth said orientation is september so how can school start on august TENTH. thats before semesters schools i think</p>
