UCSD stats, help? :]

<p>Hey I'm having trouble finding stats for undergraduate transfer admissions...mainly broken down by major and average admitted gpa. </p>

<p>I currently have a 3.54 gpa and probably a 3.61 by the end of the semester</p>

<p>I'll most likely have TAP and IGETC finished by then as well. </p>

<p>What are my chances of getting into UCSD's economics major(average gpa etc)? Is SD's sociology of economics and society major as marketable as their economics? Also, their sociology of econ/soc have no matchable pre reqs at my CC -- do I need these classes or can I just apply?
What are my chances of getting into UCLA (any business major)?</p>

<p>Also, I will not have a math classes finished by this Fall, so no TAG -- Anyone know of a way to get around this? I've heard some CC's offer 2 week winter intercessions that finish before the deadline, anyone know of any? </p>

<p>I don’t know about ucsd’s econ major, but I do know the for biz/econ at UCLA it’s extremely competitive and only those with at least a 3.9 are competitive :-&lt;/p>

<p>That’s only because it’s an impacted major</p>

<p>However, I think if you apply to non-impacted majors (like if you chose something besides econ/biz) it’d be a lot easier and I hear that if you have a 3.3/3.4 for the other majors you have decent chances. So let’s hope!! :D</p>
