UCSD still takes admission if i have a W

Alright so i got into UCSD with that TAG agreement. And this semester i decided to take Physics. But my problem is i will be failing physics, I just don't understand the material nor the time necessary to dedicated myself to it right now. Aside from my personal dilemma's, would UCSD revoke my transfer admission if i get a W in the class? I am a computer science major and i was taking Physics - Mechanics

hmm it might, if ur major is impacted

Frick... my major says i need to take physics.... well it says it on assist.org

email or mail them asap or call

I have a test in that class today. One i know that i will definitely end up failing. And then i figured i should really just drop the class rather than take my chances for a C in it.

Any Computer Science majors transferring with out having completed physics?? lol

If you don't complete the terms of the TAG, they might revoke it. I would call asap.

I think if a comp. sci major can't pass physics they shouldn't receive admission. Aren't you only in the third or fourth week of the semester?

Sstory, your probably have a small *****, and you feel the need to put others down to recover your shattered self-esteem.

Aside from sstory's small *****.....

I called UCSD, they said everything would be fine since the major is not "impacted" anymore. As long as i have IGETC and etc. then i would be fine. And i spoke to my school counselor and they said it was fine as well since its not an impacted major. Btw, you also need 60 transferable units, basically all the requirements to get admission.

Aside from not being able to handle Physics, I don't think any college student should have your type of attitude. A high school student maybe, but not a top high school student.

You're obviously just looking for people to tell you everything is going to be fine, any other engineering (or comp sci) major would say the same thing as me. Mechanics is the first and easiest of the physics classes you're going to have to take and you're giving up immediately. I can tell that you will probably be very unsuccessful when you do transfer if you have that same immature attitude.

the return of the asterisks

OH MY ****ING GOD!

Eek, I wouldn't want a surgeon to operate on me if she didn't pass anatomy!

you will get revoked if you drop physics for comp sci at ucsd.

well.. he called ucsd and they said its fine so i doubt his admissions is getting revoked.
