I am a CC student looking to transfer to UCSD in Fall 2012, as a Human Biology major. I have a 3.9 GPA, I will complete my IGETC by Spring 2012, and I have good extra cirricular activities to show for, such as Community Service and being President of the Biological Science Club. It sounds great, but I have a PROBLEM! I wanted to sign a TAG agreement this September 2011 to solidify my admission, but I do not meet all of my major's lower division course requirements.

By Spring 2012, I will have completed everything listed on Assist.org, EXCEPT the UCSD equivalent of Physics 2C, which I will not be able to fit into my schedule. Will not having that ONE class disqualify me from being able to sign the TAG?! I also noticed on ASSIST that the UCSD says,

"The Division of Biological Sciences expects transfer students to have completed all of the lower-division course work required for their desired biology major at the time of transfer."

Will not completing that one Physics class prevent my admission into UCSD all together?! Or do I still have a shot if I apply normally? I really do not want to have to stay at a Community College for ONE MORE YEAR just because I wasn't able to finish ONE class.
