<p>At the bottom it states: Transfer Students: If you completed IGETC, UC Reciprocity or TAG no further lower-division breadth coursework is required in this area.</p>

<p>Does this mean we do not need to do the 2 lower-division courses that are noncontingient to our major but we still need to do the 2 upperdivs?</p>

<p>That’s correct. You don’t have to take the lower divs, but you do need to take the upper divs. There is a list somewhere that shows which classes count for the significant writing requirement, but pretty much everything in the humanities and social sciences qualifies. If you need more help you can contact an advisor on the VAC and also check your degree audit on tritonlink.</p>
