UCSD to SD Airport - Bus Route

Does anyone know the specific bus / bus stops I need to get on / off to get to the SD Airport from UCSD? I know you take the 150 (south?) to downtown San Diego and then take another bus that takes you to the airport. Does anyone know where I should get off at downtown and which bus I should take to get to the airport?

Just in case, which shuttles will take me to the airport for cheap?

The 30 goes downtown. At Broadway and 3rd/4th, you can take the 992 to the airport terminals.

The 150 and the 30 will both take you to 3rd and Broadway downtown (where you will get off, cross the street, and take the 992 to the airport). The 150 is a LOT faster than the 30 (because it is a "commuter" bus and basically goes straight downtown), but it only runs Monday through Friday. So on weekends and holidays you will have to take the 30.. it's probably an extra 30-40 minutes longer than the 150

There's also a holiday shuttle from UCSD to the airport. It only operates at the beginning and end of holiday breaks, though:

Since I just took it, I'll just post how I got there.

Take the 150 bus towards Downtown SD. If you are at the Gilman Parking structure stop, stay on the side of the parking structure. Get off at Broadway and First, cross the street and take the 992 bus. Hopefully, this helps when people search.

you can also get a private shuttle to pick you up and drop you off for 20/way

which shuttle picks you up for $20 per way?

cloud 9 shuttle

last time i used them i got a 5% code for when you set it up online, its 8FKR6..save you a few bucks

bump is everything above still valid?

…to clear up, is it better to get off on 1st, 3rd, or 4th street?

how long do you think this will approx. take from ucsd to the airport. (assuming i take the 150)

thanks

there should be a free shuttle from peterson tree on friday

yeah, if you want to take the free shuttle (to the airport from campus on friday, and from the airport to campus the Sunday before classes start again) there is a sign-up on Tritonlink (hit the student life tab, go down to parking and transportation, etc. Look for the “holiday shuttle”). They never actually check to see if you signed up. But it wouldn’t hurt to try.
