California CC admit rate 29.53 92.78% of all admitted.

other UC campuses admit rate 21.59% 2.87 of all admitted.

We give highest priority to students who are transferring from California community colleges or other University of California campuses.

“Or” doesn’t imply CC transfers having priority over UC transfers, at least for UCLA. The inequity in statistics is likely due to that transferring from a UC is naturally more difficult, as UC courses are generally more demanding than CC courses.

Bottom line, UCLA doesn’t care, but it is often easier to transfer from a CC than a UC.

UCLA gives the same priority to CCC students and UC-UC transfers.

All those stats mean is that they didn’t bring enough to the plate GPA-wise or whatever. It has nothing to do with priority admission consideration.
