Yay @bhav007 Indians unite!

@CollegeDropout1‌ also congrats on UCLA dude. its alot harder to get into la than sd…

Does the timing when you opt in matter? It’s not like first come first serve, right?

@Mik194‌, yeah! So you’re Indian too then?

@CollegeDropout1‌, I agree; that’s awesome you got into UCLA! What’s your secret? lol. Last year for UCLA computer science transfers, 6 people out of 501 were admitted into the major with the average GPA of those 6 people being 3.98, and 2 enrolled out of those 6.

@bhav007 Yeah!! Hope you get in

@beeds1028‌ and yeah most def in between that range. Oh well I have yet to hear from UCLA so I might not even opt into the wait list!

Anyone have any stats on waitlisted transfers??

The UCSD rep I spoke to said the GPA acceptance cut-off last year was 3.34-3.36 and the wait list cutoff was around a 3.1. Then everyone on the wait list that had a 3.22-3.24 and above were offered admission. It looks like the GPA cutoff was much higher this year…

has any one written their 200 word statement thing yet? I’m having a hard time keeping it to 200 words
