@Bhav007 I still haven’t decided what to do yet. Have you guys, @Bhav007 and @bolandgoo looked at some of the CS courses at UCSD. Some of them seem pretty hard, like CSE 101 Design and Analysis of algorithms and CSE 105 Theory of Computability. They might as well be an upper division math classes; you have to use proofs in both of them.

Nothing here either, seems like it’ll be on monday. The wait is just killing me

@CollegeDropout1 Don’t admitted students like you guys have to commit within three days??

We are not admitted students lol… well at least not yet

@darren808, today by midnight

Ahh now it makes sense why the second batch wasn’t today. I figured you’d have exactly 72 hours.

holyyy crap, I got like 1.5 hours left

I’m going to ps and st all over myself when 11:59 comes and I still have not made my decision.

@darren808 Yes, I still have about an hour and twenty minutes left!

this is intense lol

At least you guys have the option now lol good luck

I feel like in the next hour and 18 minutes this is going to be more dramatic than a good spanish soap grabs popcorn

Let us know what you all decide! With any luck some more of us will be in this nerve-racking position in a few days.

@Bhav007 Have you made your decision? I wouldn’t mind turning down UCSD if UCLA let me change my major to actuarial science.

@CollegeDropout1, still deciding lol. Lol, you’re in like a different situation (diff majors).

This decision would be so much easier if it weren’t for some girl.

@CollegeDropout1 lol trust me dude forget about the girl. I made a decision to go to a different high school because of a girl…and yeah…worst damn decision in the long run…things didn’t pan out. So as advice to you on choosing a good university, please do NOT let one random girl change that. You will meet plenty hot and beautiful girls/women at whatever campus you choose. Good luck man you have 1 hour left to decide!

@CollegeDropout1 OH MAN THIS REALLY IS A DRAMA. But in all seriousness, my advice without knowing the relationship or any background is to just go with the school you most want to go to for itself. UCSD and UCLA aren’t really that far apart and if it’s a solid relationship it could still totally work that short distance apart, and if it’s just a girl you are really into/love, there’s undoubtedly amazing and smart girls at both institutions.

My 2 cents, hope it helps a bit.

@CollegeDropout1

If it’s a long distance scenario, SD and LA are not too apart from each other. What’s stoping you from choosing to study Computer Science, though? It’s all you’ve talked about on the UC Forum, lol.

@CollegeDropout1, wait, where is the girl located near? Do you mainly want to go to UCLA because the girl is near there? I think I remember the story but forgot.

@collegedropout1: yeah I checked the courses before…it’s not going to be easy…but I like these kinda topics in math more than calculus! I’m having calc3 right now and god I hate it!
why don’t u guys SIR right now and then cancel one of your SIRs later?! that’s not possible? or you just don’t want to pay another 100?lol
