I’m pretty sure it’s true for all UCs, but it’s so new that no one knows *** is going on with it. We’ll have to wait and see. At least I’m very certain we’ll get at least like 15000-16000, if anything it’ll be closer to 20k because of the SMART grant for science majors.

Yeah it does get kind of annoying. No matter how well I can comprehend stuff, it won’t help me when I’m taking bio, oh wells.

I’m going for experimental psych grad school at UCSD after undergrad though, behavioral neuroscience. Hopefully cogsci as well, they got a dual doctorate program.

We’re technically in the same field then. :)

oh and since this is the ucsd transfer housing thread, thought you guys might like to know that I sent an email to the “Village” rep. asking about the rooms. I didn’t know if they were singles, doubles, or triples…(or all three). so yeah…

imo think we should wait until the “official” price comes out before complaining about it.
I mean they’ve already lowered their estimate a couple times, i wouldn’t be surprised if it ended up costing just as much as the normal on campus housing.

@kkiiji
I havent even thought about grad school yet haha. Good luck hopefully we both get in. which college in ucsd is your first choice? I chose mine randomly and somehow my first is revelle. Lol.

Finally theres someone with technically the same major as me haha. I chose cogsci because it was a major that I met the most prereq, luckily, lol. I sound like the worst student right now. I found out this week their ranking for cogsci and its better than ucla or cal, and I wanted to go to cal…(wanted). Now ucsd is my first choice.

Guys, pass the housing email so I can complain too.

My college of choice is Revelle because its GE reqs are perfect for bio majors. I think cogsci is pretty damn interesting, you’ll probably love it.

By the way am I the only one that curse uncontrollably when seeing this?
